How do Search Engines Work?
|
Businesses world wide are fighting for
that top spot in search engine rankings. It is the
most coveted form of internet presence. But there are
some important things you should know before you seek to
build quality one way links or an internet ad campaign.
Natural Links: The Ultimate
In-Bound Link
If you really want a great inbound
link, you need it to be a quality link, rather than a
2 or 3 line ad.
Google looks for quality inbound links...not some ad with 20
words of text. A link to your site should be natural,
and it should be embedded in the middle of informative text.
Links to your site that are "ads" are easily, and I mean
easily identified by Google and major search engines and
minimized. If you want a quality in bound link,
you need an entire page of text, with links embedded to your
site. That means, basically, a mini-essay full of
text, with one or two links. It should look like a typical 3-4
paragraph "about your site". We will put up an entire
page...solely devoted to your site,,,,with all the text you
want...so that you can receive a quality link to your
site...one that is natural and will be identified by Google
as genuine. If you are interested in this unique
offer, please contact us and inquire. A full page of
text about your business and website, with embedded links to
your site. The page name will equal your primary
anchor text and you will get SEO heading one (H1) text at
the start of the page equaling your anchor text (your main
keywords). Then, using your supplied text, a full page
devoted just for your keywords which links to your site!....this
is the ultimate link, because it is natural, one way, and
most importantly, a quality link.

Natural Links:
Why are Non-Reciprocal Links so
Important?
You've probably heard the term "backlinks"
before. A backlink is an incoming link into your
website that originates from another website. These
are very powerful mechanisms for increasing your page rank
and Google rankings. The more backlinks the better.
However, if Google reaches your website from
www.somewhere.com and then, on your site, Google gets
bounced back to www.somewhere.com, you could be penalized
for having a reciprocal link. Ideally, you do not want
Google to just bounce back to where it came, so make sure
your back links are one way links. The
rationale behind this is because in the past, people could
manipulate Google with massive link exchanges. When
A-->B and then B-->A, its pretty obvious that its simply a
link exchange and not genuine. Google, to make its
results truly relevant, tries to eliminate the obvious
puffing up of websites through the common A-->B, B-->A model
by reducing weight or even penalizing sites that use it.
That means that whatever you do, do not participate in
direct link exchanges! They are not good for your
site, and Google is simply too smart to fall for it today.
